What data we collect
- Account data: name, email, hashed password or OAuth identifier.
- Usage data: pages viewed, searches, comparisons, saved items.
- Device data: IP address, user agent, approximate location.
- Optional data: phone number, business details, project data you enter.
How we use it
To provide the service, personalise recommendations, prevent abuse, send transactional emails you opted in to, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Contract performance (account features), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax, fraud).
Sharing
With processors that host our infrastructure, send email, and process payments. Each processor is contractually bound to protect your data. A current subprocessor list is available on request.
International transfers
Some processors operate outside the EEA. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions where required.
Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for legal and fraud-prevention purposes. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
